![]() If ur already running at max clocks due to high GPU usuage then this likely wont help. Since MHtri doesnt use much more than 50% of a GTX 780 gpu ,even with 9xSSAA and4x Internal Res, it downclocks, and it seems dispite having ample power, the downlock actually affects Dolphin and can cause a slight drop in FPS/VPS/Speed in some situations. Though tbh i think there will still be cases where the FPS drops some due to the emulation.Īnother thing that seems to help is turning on K-boost on EVGA Precision X (for Nvida users), this turns off the GPU downclock and makes sure ur GPU stays on max clocks. Auto, Audio, Limit by FPS 30, all end up having issues in certain areas like for example area 6 in the desert when ur looking at the dust faling from above. Turns out the game needs to be run with framelimiter set to 60 with limit by fps unchecked. Stil lafter a working bloom though for that little extra fidelity.ĮDIT4: Ok so i was coming up against certain areas and circumstances where the FPS would drop(no GPU or CPU bottleneck) but VPS and Speed would still be fine at 60 and 100 respectivley. the game seems ot run smoother in windowed mode( FPS limit on auto)* over its 'fake' fullscreen mode. ago Have you tried single core and dual core for performance comparisons in this game Can you provide more information Platform (Desktop, Laptop etc. Ill stick to DX9 i think.Īny1 know of a fix for bloom, i currently have it disabled via the hack, is their a way to have bloom working as intended ?ĮDIT3: Just a heads up to any1 wondering. 9 2 2 comments Best Add a Comment Applephobic 1 yr. DX11 max 8xAA doesnt seem to work very well, if at all. This is using the DX9 engine atm.ĮDIT2: Tried DX11 and openGL, some differences in GPU and CPU load as expected but image quality is better in DX9. Havnt gone out fighitng yet but can run on 9xSSAA in the village with ~50% gpu usuage so may get lucky and be able to stay wiht 9xSSA, though in a game like Xenoblade i have had to settle for 4xSSAA so dont mind going down to that if needed. ![]() Sound has hickups now and then but thats not unusual for a emulated game cheers.ĮDIT: yep the stable version 3.5 works fine.
